MEDICAL OVERVIEW
Moses Reemes has indeed fit the profile of a science officer, but has showed he has the knowledge and fitness that every security officer needs. His quick reflexes during times of crisis are a big help, and his duty comes before his intuition. His hands are very careful and slow to press the fire button on a phaser, but his identification skills of friend and foe are equal to some of the better recruits out there. His scientific skills have shown in manufacturing a portable communications device using several rocks from two different planets, similar to old morse in subspace. He's identified almost every piece of fauna and animal put in front of him, and is very experienced at survival measures. In my opinion, he should have put into the marines, but as long as he's here, he's welcome.

Moses has a big imagination. A tendency to use this imagination is limited to his off-duty hours, but I've seen it surface when he's put into a personal crisis. He'll easily blame himself if something happens to a mission he's in charge of, so it doesn't look like he would get in command very quick, but he's a kindhearted if not quiet individual. His creativity in every situation he was put in has really been a major point to look towards, as he's seemed to put forth new rules into his work. This generally means he's very good at finding a solution, maybe not always quickly, but it looks if he's given experience he'll turn out to be a fast and effective officer. He states he has no want for a spouse, whether or not that's because of his trill side's experience with losing wives in disasters or not. Even though his personality and imagination can be generally light, it looks like the pasts of his symbiont give him a dark resonance, making him think of how others lives were better than his, or at least he says his symbiont's.
This man can keep himself controlled and ready for anything however. When duty calls he's always at his station, though in some of his security simulations, he's had a hard time finding where he would go amongst the other security officers. I think this is because his mind needs a set of particular orders before he goes to do something, and it's a good idea to have his general station set before a situation arrives, otherwise he finds a nearby console and tries to see what's going on. This sense of confusion isn't good in an officer, and I'm only bringing it up to whoever may take him in first. If he doesn't get orders, it's off-duty for him unless he's on a shift. He needs to be told where to go and what to do if a crisis situation arrives, as he is new to starships. He'll need help on his first day.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

BACKGROUND SUMMARY
Born in Tenara, a very cold part of northern Trill, he made his early living off of mining in several of the mountanous regions. Had taken an interest in the types of materials being mined, including several minerals used in the creation of Deuranium. The rocks all had a blue tint and looked more like gems to the common visitor.
As he worked there, he was studying at the Educational Institute in his high school phase. He did exceptionally well at History and Geography, as well as grabbing the basics of Biology and Advanced Calculus.
When he was 11, he joined the Tenaran Music Academy, well known by many tourists that visited the region, especially to hear the unique kind of music played there. He became an expert with the Georan, a kind of flute that emits a highly liquidic echoing tune. He especially likes this instrument because it's sound reflects that of the icy cold location he lives in.
During his education, he visited Earth with his father, who worked with the Trill Senate as a foreign ambassador. While he was there, he visited Starfleet Communications and while the head of the operations there didn't like allowing a teenager in, Moses managed to surprise many of the workers with his knowledge of subspace harmonics. He compared subspace communication to the Georan, and used his knowledge of basic Advanced Calculus to come to conclusions of things such as how to expand the range of communications.
His father also took him to the Palais de la Concorde, the formal name of the Federation seat of government in Paris. Before they went there, Moses also saw Starfleet Academy from afar, thinking how fun and yet demanding the job could be. Of course, he wanted to see and do all he could to help, so he immediately applied after graduating.
Finally, with his graduation from the Academy, he was sent off on many science vessels studying planets, and had even studied Earth, especially at the research facilities in Nevada. He discovered someone trying to gain access to one of the rooms with no luck. There were no security gaurds at the time, probably knocked out or something, but when Moses asked for ID, the man attacked. Moses managed to come out relatively unscathed, and the man was soon sent to a Federation Detention Outpost on Alpha Centauri VII. Moses was offered the chance to be security at the Starfleet Embassy on Trill by an old friend from the Academy who was serving there.
After some time, people asked him if he was going to work aboard a starship. Moses didn't know how to reply at the time, as he was enjoying his field work and jumping from planet to planet, but something told him he'd see things he couldn't find on any planet if he looked in space. He decided he would try something new, and applied to be sent to a ship on permanent duty.

Plays the Georan either in the holodeck or in his room. The soothing sound has never disturbed anyone before, but there could be a first time.
Is something of a rookie 3d-Chess player.
Has tried racketball and is a basically good player, and he'll usually take the game to his limits.
Hiking on the mountains of Telana. He calls it 'ice-hiking' and does it every day in the holodeck to keep himself in shape.
A fictional world he created in the holodeck is a dark world where police and spy band together to defeat terrorists. He enjoys this whenever he gets the time, and it too keeps him in shape.

IDIOSYNCRACIES
Reemes has a flexible personality, though he can be too cheerful to those that generally don't like the cheerful sort...
He's a great listener when it comes to talking to someone.
He has a taste for ice-cream. For some reason it keeps him quiet. But with hot fudge on it, he's in a talkative mood.
He really gets steamed when people insult others. In the Academy, he got into a few fights with a group of 'school bullies' who would push others around. This is due to his symbiont who had a rough life.
He gets frequent colds when he walks into a desert, even on the holodeck.
He'll wake up a little early, at about 0900, and can stay awake and completely alert until 0100.
He takes a nap at 0700 if he's awake before then. Something to do with a symbiont reaction he has.
Never been on a large space vessel before except for transports. Accepts help wherever he can get it
